@T_RealMelbourne @DayZ Dude if you read the notes again, their bringing out a next gen version this year because otherwise badlands would be terrible on console. Also id say they have to cuz (well with Sony anyway) said to them we ain't supporting ye on ps4 anymore at some point this year

@es_kadri @DayZ They are meant to bring out a next gen dayz

@SmokeyJoe___ @DayZ There’s notes about server performance improvements. This will help servers run more smoothly, should be noticeable in gunfights and driving. But there’s no mention or probably will never be a PS5 XSX update. Consoles only have low tier PC specs.

@DayZ Can ye at least let us know that next gen upgrade is coming with 1.29 don't care about anything else i just wanna play the game without any issue and at the moment its impossible to play without losing your mind

Badlands will be ruled by single track machines! Simpler means to travel around the world is something we've wanted to do for a long time. Expansions like #DayZBadlands allow us to take such significant technological leaps in @DayZ 🛵

@TopeREC This is what I’ve been telling my friends. I’ve always been the hater in the group against filters, crosshair etc but now I’m just like it’s Bohemias fault at this point. The game will continue to become a battle royale type game until they pull the game back to its roots.

Unfortunately is using dots and as much as I hate to say it, I encourage all hardcore server admins to at this point just turn the crosshairs on server side to make it fair for everyone...

At this point DayZ is slowly changing into an unfair battle against people abusing settings, bugs, filters and 3rd party software crosshairs. To me hipfiring was always a great and difficult skill worth showing off. Now a vast majority of players (read the rest in comments )
