Serious question: Why would a non-citizen vote? What’s their motivation? Their rationale? I can’t come up with anything.

@BeingJWood Many years ago, a German told me that some Europeans think they should have a vote in U.S. elections since their countries are affected by U.S. policies. Millions of votes by non-citizens could benefit a party that aligns with their priorities.

@thewinterdollx Finally, let's face it. It takes time for new ideas to be adopted. Demanding that 70-year old Grandma never forget your new name or that a total stranger not make a mistake with your pronouns is not the way to endear you to the masses.

How is it that we can impeach one President for having consensual sex with another adult, but we CAN'T impeach another "president" for unconsensually raping, abusing, and molesting little kids? MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE

@danpfeiffer Like much of what Obama did, his diplomacy was nearly always designed to delay problems until he was out of office. The Iran agreement was only to slow down nuclear weapons building, not to prevent it entirely.

Barack Obama reached a deal that prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Trump ripped up that deal. Now we are at war with Iran to prevent it from getting a nuclear weapon.

@Sadie_NC Further, it has long been the practice of these countries to show visitors only the positives. In the USSR, they'd be taken to fully- stocked stores that were reserved for the elite and pass them off as available to everyone, for example.
