just deployed another $1000 to extract $140 from the iran escalation on polymarket the market: "will the u.s. invade iran by march 31?" my bet: NO. retail sees aircraft carriers on the news and prices "YES" at 13%. why a full ground invasion in 11 days is highly improbable: > logistics: zero heavy us armor in the region. the doctrine is contactless airstrikes, not ground wars. > troops: the marines heading there are only equipped for short tactical raids (like clearing hormuz). > the rules: polymarket strictly requires "intent to establish control". airstrikes and special ops raids will resolve this market as NO. the true probability is nowhere near 13%. gladly taking the free $140 (mostly because i just smashed my gamepad playing elden ring and need a replacement asap)
