I can't make myself enjoy anything. I don't want to stream or play games. I am struggling with substance abuse. I don't want to burden my friends or family with my presence. I've talked to friends and professionals over and over and don't feel better. I hate this person.

How long into telling yourself and others "this isn't who I am, this isn't the real me, this will go away soon" until you just accept that it is in fact, "the new me"?
