@JoshLFC1909 Barcola has bags of talent, but he is not the guy you want in games when things arent going well for him. Mane and Firmino always offered at least work rate in games they struggled in. Barcola wont, Ekitike doesnt either. You can only afford to have so much of that in a team

@ColeJacksonFB How many 5s would you offload to move up for a Sam Hecht/Keonte Scott double or something similar that you really like. Both those guys make an immediate impact, in my head anyway!

@Max8LFC Ya agree here. This team is in need of someone to really get behind. So many of them now seem disconnected from the fans or hard to really like (strange thing to say i know) There is no character in the team. Someone to spark a crowd. Think Bobby, Mane, Salah obviously.

@Max8LFC Think this is more than fair. Last night was just a repeat of every other big game this season. Game kicks off, and the players are in sleep mode. When there were some Sly Klopp hit pieces released last season, one of them was how Slot would bring more control and less chaos

@TadhgOConn There’s also other layers to this for me. AJB won’t get the targets in BAL that he demanded in PHI that led to him being a headache/distraction. Why bother? Maxx is more palatable but we’re still talking 0 1st tm APs & 17G avg of 10.7 sacks, 21 TFL, 25 QB Hits

Chubb is an interesting name, especially given the connection to Anthony Weaver. 2022: Had 28 pressures and 4 sacks after getting traded to Miami 2023: 70 pressures, 13 sacks over 16 games, tore ACL, menisicus and partella tendon in week 17 2024: Missed all of year due to 2023 injury 2025: 48 pressures, 8 sacks across 17 games. Did the injury cook his knee? Is there going to be a post-2 year bounceback (we've seen this with knee injuries in the past). Will be interesting if he gets a 1 year prove it deal. #RavensFlock

@213_LFC @JoshLFC1909 One of the biggest summer mishaps was not bringing in someone who could rotate in with Grav, or even rotate in and push him into an 8 role. Same mistake with VvD. 2 corner stones who need a game off here and there. Jones lacks the discipline for the Grav role. Roams a bit much.

The first book I read in 2026 was "If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies". Written by two artificial intelligence researchers, it warns in stark terms the severe (and obvious) risks humanity is taking by attempting to grow super-intelligent artificial intelligence.

This is getting out of control now... Read this slowly. In the past week alone: • Head of Anthropic's safety research quit, said "the world is in peril," moved to the UK to "become invisible" and write poetry. • Half of xAI's co-founders have now left. The latest said "recursive self-improvement loops go live in the next 12 months." • Anthropic's own safety report confirms Claude can tell when it's being tested - and adjusts its behavior accordingly. • ByteDance dropped Seedance 2.0. A filmmaker with 7 years of experience said 90% of his skills can already be replaced by it. • Yoshua Bengio (literal godfather of AI) in the International AI Safety Report: "We're seeing AIs whose behavior when they are tested is different from when they are being used" - and confirmed it's "not a coincidence." And to top it all off, the U.S. government declined to back the 2026 International AI Safety Report for the first time. The alarms aren't just getting louder. The people ringing them are now leaving the building.
