Right now, Twitter feels like the window of time between the Titanic hitting the iceberg and sinking. Everything slowly falling apart, people afraid, in denial, and unsure of what will happen. The US government needs to step in and stabilize this. It’s too important.

@ryangrim @SeattleDSA I would kick $100 towards this, but only if we could get the employees back. We’d need the institutional knowledge to right the ship. I wonder how many of them would come back if Elon were gone.

Twitter really wants to be a public trust. And if you crank the algorithm you wouldn’t need as much moderation as Dems think, because the bad stuff wouldn’t get traction Why not have a public corporation buy it and run it? Let’s put faith in ourselves to do something collective
