The fun part of being in a developing SEA Asian country is that it’s 「developing」 I.e., you feel like you’ve time slipped to Meiji era developing Japan. Seeing the energy and chaos of a fast growing young country is amazing 🇵🇭

I am today years old when I learned ‘albeit’ is pronounced with three syllables (all-be-it), instead of the two syllables (al-bait) I thought was correct all this time. 😂

The guys forgot their shopping bag on a nearby bench. I only noticed after they had left, but I remembered them. Thirty minutes later, they returned, looking so happy that the bag was still there. I felt happy for them too. It was a happy ending. 😂

Took this pic in 2009 on a hike in Chiba. Now a documentary says this quarry is ancient. Parts might have been used to build Edo Castle in the 1700s, but most areas, including this one with almost perfectly right angles, are likely much older. 🤔 #AncientAliens

Saw a McLaren parked in a Lawson parking spot. Lawson staff went out to place a placard on the sports car’s windshield. The car owner arrived, and the staff told him he should not park there. Lesson: Even McLaren owners can’t afford to pay for a proper parking space. 😂
