Those shedding false tears for Ismail Haniyeh At the janaza funeral prayers (in Doha and Tehran) for Ismail Haniyeh who was assassinated in Tehran a few days ago, those who betray the Palestinians were suddenly full of warm words for #Palestine . Those Arab and Muslim leaders shedding tears, the Americans, Europeans and the 'so-called' international community agree on one thing; that there should be “no escalation" of the war on Gaza. No escalation to the region. Pause for a moment and think about what that statement really means. It means the Israelis can bomb Beirut, bomb Tehran and Syria and assassinate people - and embarrass the Iranian leadership. It means they can kill Egyptian soldiers (which they did in last few months) as well as carry on the daily slaughter in Gaza killing over 186,000 Palestinians. It means they can do all this yet the neighbouring Arab and Muslim rulers (and the US, UK, ....) remain united in saying that is OK - provided it doesn't spread to the neighbouring countries. For them, the death of Palestinians - including Ismail Haniyeh - is to be condemned only or at best there will be token retaliation designed not to 'escalate' the situation. All this gives the green light to Israel that no matter what it does and how many Palestinians it kills, the Arab, Iranian and Muslim rulers will do nothing meaningful to confront them and rescue the people in Gaza. In April 2024, after much fanfare and hot words about retaliating for Israel's killing of two Iranian generals in Syria, Iran's leaders sent drones towards Israel but more importantly, they announced the launch of the drones and missiles to the Americans and the world so there was ample time to shoot down nearly all of them. Their clear intention was to be seen to be doing something which they knew would not really trouble the Israelis - because they don't want to ‘escalate’ the situation. So it was not about helping to liberate people in Gaza from the murderous Zionist regime, it was a PR exercise - which has not deceived the ummah. Qatar hosts US and UK warplanes at Al Udeid Air Base from which these countries have been able to bomb and kill people in the region over decades. Qatar's rulers also claim to be 'mediators' with the Zionists who assassinated Haniyeh and 186,000 other Palestinians. ‘Mediators’ i.e. bystanders negotiating with the terrorist Zionist entity rather than really helping the Palestinians. On several occasions, they have put pressure on the Palestinian leadership - being a host gives them leverage to pressure the Palestinians when the US, UK or others decide. So don't be fooled when Qatar's rulers say they have the best interest of the Palestinians at heart. Turkey's leader traded with and supplied the Zionist entity for months despite the massacres in Gaza. Despite Zionist forces killing Egyptian soldiers recently, Sisi continues to be the jailkeeper helming in Gaza and also claims to be a mediator i.e. pressures the Palestinian leadership on behalf of America. Rather than send their armies to liberate the oppressed in Gaza as Allah (swt)ordered, the Arab and Muslim rulers collude with the Zionist entity and have their blood on their hands. Their tears for Ismail Haniyeh and the 186,000 murdered Palestinians are crocodile tears and Israel knows that. Their actions and support in feeding, helping and negotiating with the Zionist entity speak for itself. Their worship of the "we must not escalate" position means it is OK to sacrifice Palestinian lives - no matter the number Israel massacres. Some claim the Arab and Muslim rulers are being clever by not engaging Israel military and defending the Palestinians. We've heard this excuse for decades and this allows the Zionists to continue to kill Palestinians with impunity. It's treachery and a betrayal of Allah, His Messenger and the Ummah - not cleverness. The Zionist entity is weak, unable to subdue the brave people in Gaza after nearly a year and is unable to fight the people in the region if a sincere action was launched by armies of the neighbouring countries. Abu Said (ra) reported from the Messenger of Allah (alayhi salam): ‘There is a flag for every traitor on the day of judgement which will be raised according to the level of his treachery, and there is no traitor greater in his treachery than the general leader.’ [Muslim] Gaza has exposed the treachery of the traitor Arab and Muslim rulers. Our ummah needs a new leadership who's thinking is not confined to preserving their throne and thinking within the confines of the national borders the colonialists created for us. We need a leadership that doesn't say a Qatari, Saudi, Pakistani, Egyptian, Kuwaiti life is worth more than a Palestinian life - because they are not from 'our country – dirty smell of nationalism. A ruler who sees the ummah as one ummah and that the blood of one Muslim is worth more than the Kaaba as the Prophet (alayhi salam) said. That is the leader who will be prepared to despatch the army to liberate Gaza and rally all the ummah’s resources to defend the lives of the people in Palestine, Kashmir and elsewhere. Until the ummah rises and removes these traitor rulers and appoints a sincere Khalifah who rules by what Allah revealed hence sends the army to liberate Palestine as Allah ordered, Palestine will continue to bleed, and the Israelis continue to have the assurance that no matter what they do, the current Arab and Muslim rulers will not lift a finger – and will only shed false tears. May Allah (swt) have mercy on all the Palestinians who have been killed by Israel. May Allah (swt) enable us all to continue to work to re-establish the sincere Islamic leadership (the Khilafah) who will act to liberate Palestine as Allah ordered - and as Salahudeen did. وَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَـٰتِلُونَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ "Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against those who wage war against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors." [Al-Baqarah 2:190] Taji Mustafa #IsmailHaniyeh

Worship of Allah (swt) has been reduced by sheikhs like this to exclude speaking up about the genocide in Gaza and demanding the so called Muslim rulers use all ummah’s resources and armies to rescue Gaza.

What's Happening To Us Watching Gaza Genocide? Some say there are five ‘stages of grief’. How many stages of ‘witnessing a genocide’ are there? The five ‘stages of grief’ idea is linked to the psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. They are said to be Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. What is our reaction to witnessing the genocide in Gaza unfolding in real-time on our WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and other Social media feeds? One minute I think there are 4 stages, then I change my mind about how many stages there are. We are shocked. We are awakened. We are Angry. We demonstrate. We Share. We feel fatigue (Oh, not another day). We feel despair. We feel awakened as we see the eman of the people of Gaza. We Share. We are hopeful. We despair. You see why I’m not sure how many stages there are? People in Gaza are going through a lot as they move from place to place and now nowhere is safe. We see their hunger, tiredness, tears, grief, amazing eman, steadfastness as well as their positivity. And those of us not in Gaza? What will keep us grounded so we are not just bystanders watching events unfolding? 1) Remember our Islamic Duty to Palestine. Allah (swt) will ask us what we did to stop the genocide and rescue them Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever among you sees evil (munkar), let him change it with his hand. If he cannot do so, then with his tongue. If he cannot do so, then with his heart, which is the weakest level of faith.” [Muslim] A clear understanding that we are forbidden to be bystanders. That we will be questioned about this on the day of judgement. Knowing that we are obliged to change the munkar when we see it or to mobilise those who can change the munkar. What evil deed could be worse than the massacre of over 16,000 – mostly women and children in Gaza? Linked to understanding the obligation is working to move the capable Muslim armies in the region as they can confront the Zionist entity’s military. Understanding this obligation stops us switching off from the issue -even when there appears no end in sight. 2) Asking “What more can I do?” Have I done enough? Am I sharing the news to awaken others? Am I making enough dua for Allah’s victory? Do I understand what the Islamic solution is to liberate Palestine to bring peace to it? Am I using all my efforts to contribute to building the one opinion in the ummah that the Muslim armies need to move to liberate Palestine and that the traitor rulers need to be removed as they stand in the way? Constantly checking to see if there is more we can do and then doing it helps to keep us engaged with the issue and doing our bit until Allah’s victory comes and Palestine is liberated. 3) Belief that Allah’s victory will come, and Palestine will be liberated by an Islamic army The longer the massacres, bombings and displacements go on, the more we can come to assume the end is far far away. Prophet Musa (as) was leading Banu Israil pursued by Pharaoh and his army. It must have looked bleak as the sea loomed ahead. Stuck between the sea and Pharaoh's army, most people won’t be able to see a way out at that moment. Then in an instance, Allah (swt) ordered Musa (as) to strike the sea and Banu Israil were saved. So, we need to remind ourselves that victory can come at any moment. So, we must forever be hopeful and keep doing what we are accountable for which is to be the voice of the people in Gaza and work to mobilise the Muslim armies to move and liberate them. These are three ideas I try to bear I mind as I witness and experience some of the rollercoaster of emotions as we witness the genocide in Palestine. May Allah (swt) aid the people of Gaza, strengthen our efforts to mobilise the armies and grant His Victory soon.
