So thankful to be where I’m at now. Excited to keep being present in this journey. Forever thankful for the people, both new and old, who are supporting me. And as always, s/o to the ancestors for paving the way for the kid 🫂 10/10

Bad faith, ahistorical, and frankly just so incredibly sad that folks think this way 😞 It’s one thing to think this way on your own, but it’s another thing to say this thinking is legitimized by the Black Radical Tradition. Put the mics down and read beloveds.

i'm begging all of us to be more curious than critical sometimes. watching decades of organizing and strategy be undermined for likes is really a wild phenomenon, and especially when you have no idea what you're talking about it so dangerous

Intern year was one of the worst years of my life. I struggled with depression, loneliness, and hopelessness throughout the year. My mental health often took the hardest hit was when rotating outside of the ED. A thread. #Medtwitter TW: physiciansuicide, depression.

I read When Breath Becomes Air & Cutting for Stone right before med school. Those two books made me much more conscious of my mortality, the fragility of life & how unpredictable the future is. That’s why I think medicine should give us more of the promised gratification earlier.

Undrafted? Who cares? 🤫 🇳🇬 Nigeria’s Gabe Vincent has been the key for Miami Heat’s improbable run to NBA Finals and he'd already showed glimpses of talent at #FIBAWC 2019! 💎

As Dr. Alonge’s friend reminded him, it’s OK to not be OK. This #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth I’d love to know: who do you turn to when you’re struggling with your #MentalHealth—and how does that person support you? 💑
