REGION 9 TOURNAMENT 🏆 WINNERS BRACKET Otero upsets the Region 1 seed with an impressive 6-3 victory. Otero got things started early on scoring in the 1st, but then really got it going with a 5 run top of the 3rd. TERRIFIC IN TENNESSEE! @IHCCBaseball capped off a perfect opening weekend in Millington, TN as the Warriors moved to 4-0 on the season after an 11-1, five-inning victory over @SCCCougarsBsb in their final game of the Flag City Classic. Cole Huebner gave the Warriors another quality start as he picked up the victory (4IP, 3H, 1ER, 2BB, 7K). JJ Dutton paced the offense with pair of hits in the nine-hit attack. Miguel Salazar knocked in four while Endi Jaquez added three RBI. Salazar, Jaquez joined Logan Myers, Raul Torres and Tijmen Nagel with a double apiece, while Ciro Benavides laced a triple. IHCC will be back in Millington next weekend as the Warriors take part in the Babe Howard JUCO Classic with two games on Saturday and two more on Sunday. #WeAreWarriors #WarriorNation

WARRIORS SWEEP THE DAY! @IHCCBaseball got its 2024 season off on the right foot today in Millington, TN as the Warriors polished off a 2-0 start to the campaign after a 10-6 win over @LLC_Baseball in game two at the Flag City Classic at USA Stadium. Freshman Taiyo Boily led the Warriors’ 10-hit attack with a 3-for-3 showing at the plate with a pair of runs scored and one knocked in. Dylan Sayles added a pair of hits and three runs scored, while Miguel Salazar and Zachari Pace added doubles to the IHCC cause. After struggling to get out of the first inning, a frame which saw the Warriors fall behind 5-0, IHCC freshman righty, Kurtis Smith shutout the Lakers over the next five innings to earn the win, and Nathan Smithburg got the final three outs in the seventh to secure the victory. Indian Hills has two more tomorrow back at Millington as the Warriors face @loggerbaseball at 10 a.m. and @SCCCougarsBsb at 1:30 p.m. #WeAreWarriors #WarriorNation
