On May 22 in Arlington, Texas, a small plane with two people aboard made a foam-assisted belly landing after reporting equipment problems. The pilot brought it down safely, and no injuries were reported.

I thought, “surely we’ll get through this segment on #stephencolbert without the constant lying,” but I was wrong. It’s exhausting to deal with a relentless flood of falsehoods, but I’m going to call out the lie every time. Political comedy wasn’t Johnny Carson’s forte, but it is an ABSOLUTE LIE to say that he “never waded into politics.”
