Just in: Birmingham, England, Aug . 5 — Armed "Muslim patrol" members surrounded and attacked a pub after marching around the area looking for white right-wingers to attack. (The rumored "far-right" protest never materialized.) The Muslim rioters attacked journalists and slashed up the vehicle of a Sky News team. @WMPolice said they had "well-rehearsed plans in place" to deal with right-wing protests. But they did not show up to the group of around 300 Muslims who mobilized for a direct action.

UPDATE: Some of the community in our closed group have managed to get in touch with a rep from Meta over a phone call. We will provide updates soon. The main takeaway is that THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, AND THEY ARE NOW VERY AWARE OF THIS!!! Well done for getting this pushed and keep pushing!

@facebook & @meta are you going to issue not only a public apology but an update on the 1000's of accounts that were victim to the Oculus exploit to suspend accounts? 1000s are without Facebook accounts and have lost businesses while non of us can appeal as the accounts are now unlinked and send us in a spiral/loop. No official word on this. @facebook @Meta @instagram why don't you do anything about all the accounts that have been hacked and suspended with no means to contact anyone and appeal? You suspended my account due to age restrictions saying I have to be 13yo?! I had my FB account for 16 years!
