@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 Yeah I've already seen it, really sad actually. Even tho that a bigger nerf, I still think it's good vs burst, but instead of building it in 8/10 games vs burst, it's now 5/10. If it's really weak riot will buff it again, because they've said they wanna keep it viable for ranged

@Takeo_67 @wealary_V2 But I struggle to see the use case of it over Hexoptics rush now (assuming I can't get BF, cause in those cases I would always rather get stormrazor over either of them in any scenario). I've already been building it less ever since the rework.

@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 Yeah ok that makes sense. If the build was only used by you to statcheck people I understand why it has less value to you or why everything else might be better now. I still think it's not THAT bad, but there are definitely fewer or almost no use cases for it (in your case)

@ShadowsWrldz @Belphegor_LoL @Spideraxe30 I still don't get it. Briar is 100% unaffected by this, her Bleed ticks every 0.5 seconds, everything else does damage in one instance. Even if I would auto Q auto W auto in 0.01 sec (which isn't possible either way) I still would have full Cleaver stacks on the target

@Takeo_67 @Belphegor_LoL @Spideraxe30 It does affect multiple hits in less than a second because the cooldown is per target, so multi hit abilities like kled Q or briar auto reset combo can now proc it again

@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 How is it dead? You don't lose much DPS, and after Fiendhunter you'll reach the AS cap anyway when ulting where it's the exact same. You think losing 13 DPS every now and then for 10 min of the game makes this build unusable? (genuine question)

@Takeo_67 @wealary_V2 I used to have Hexplate Fiendhunter as a setup I went when I knew I was gonna be outscaled no matter what. It's the strongest possible 1 item and 2 item spike you can get on Zeri, so it's very good for snowballing. Still ran it with LT, it was just a snowball setup. Dead now tho

Patch 26.11 Preview! In 26.11, we're making a few adjustments to the Support ecosystem to improve diversity, especially in terms of melee vs ranged balance.  We're also doing some continued followup to champs after some of the Season 2 changes have been optimized.  AP Xin Zhao has popped out as one of the most striking and fun champs, but his healing is a bit on the high side, especially when he's outhealing some of the champs designed around healing.  That said, we still think healing a bunch is exciting and worth supporting, just not at this magnitude.  Systems - With the role quests in Season Start, ranged supports have risen to the top of the pecking order - They're both the best at multiplying ADC's who are strong currently, as well as benefiting the most from being in lane for role quests - Roaming also pays a higher systemic cost as it puts both yourself behind on quest progress and makes it so your ally ADC can't stack their quest - Overall, this has been desirable, as we think in 2025, roaming was too high for the most part and especially undercut the satisfaction of players in bot lane wanting to a play a “real laning phase” - At the same time though, we do want to open up a bit of roaming power on the grub timing after early lane is done and so we're buffing up the reward of grubs just slightly - We're making a broad set of changes to both improve the desirability of some underpurchased items, as well as more finely tune the purpose of various items in the ecosystem - Other systems adjustments this patch are changes to Experimental Hexplate that aim to make it shine on both melee and ranged users.  - Currently the best users are champs like Nocturne, Olaf, Vayne, Varus and we think we can strike a better balance on more champions while also making the item tradeoffs more apparent for durability vs damage on Vayne and Varus (mostly manifesting in Top) - The other systems impacting changes are some adjustments to Diana and Ekko jungle who have been slightly worse for wear there (though Mid is mostly fine)

@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 In any other scenario this item is trash imo, since like you said, you are behind in critical strike chance which feels awful. If I don't need the HP, why should I ever build this (more so next patch)

@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 The only reason I'm buying Hexplate right now is, if the enemy has 2 champs that can oneshot me without the 450 HP it gives, and there is no peel on my team. In that scenario idc about needing to snowball, since surviving an engage is most important (can't get kills if I'm dead)

@TheWarLife @wealary_V2 Not unbuildable but definitely nerfed. You'll lose about 13 DPS during those 8 seconds after the changes. Only thing that's better is your W. The item is now even more niche

@wealary_V2 It's not a buff in the late game either, it's the exact same as right now, since 50% AS already turns into 30 AD with the current 60% conversion. So the item doesn't change in normal crit setups (still a good late defensive item) but unbuildable first.

@_divine_ascent @wealary_V2 It's not a buff for 5th/6th item, since 50% AS x 0.6 = 30 AD. In other words it's the exact same after you've reached the AS cap of 1.5, before that it's a nerf for your overall DPS, only W damage is up

@wealary_V2 I guess riot tries to address the issue with varus/vayne top with this change, and make this item more for bruisers like renekton/(maybe)gnar/etc Definitely should be buff for 5th/6th slot, maybe in pair with archangel and legend bloodline for survivability?

@wealary_V2 Hexplate first with 5 points in Q at level 9: Before: 245.31 DPS After: 232.87 DPS Till 1.5 AS it's a nerf (only W is better), after that it's the exact same (50% AS is 30 AD when converted). The closer you are reaching the cap the tinier the difference in damage becomes.
