Where is the white privilege everyone talks about?? My 22-year-old son now wants to attend Aviation Mechanic School. It costs $40,000. They do not accept student aid. The only grants are these: 332 Heritage Foundation, Black Pilots of America, Latino Pilot Association, National Gay Pilot Association, Organization of Black Professionals, Professional Asian Pilots, Women in Aviation. So how is an average young white straight male supposed to go without me co-signing a full loan? 🤦‍♀️

@9p_wolf Yeah, it'd definitely be a shame if they ended things here. Although it'd probably be pretty expensive for them to animate some of the later stuff, especially in Ch14. If they do animate those later chapters, they'll need to have much longer seasons to really do the story justice

The Japan Imam Council recently called for “calm and fair dialogue” with Japanese society. That sounds reasonable. Japan protects freedom of religion. Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, atheists — everyone has the right to believe, worship, and live peacefully under the law. But dialogue cannot be one-way. According to a Japanese civic group called the “Association for Considering Responses to Islam under the Constitution of Japan,” they requested a meeting with the Japan Imam Council and sent documents in both Japanese and English. They say the mail was refused and returned. To be clear, refusing mail may be legally allowed. But that is not the main issue. The issue is trust. If a religious organization asks Japanese society for understanding, then it should also be willing to receive questions, concerns, and criticism from Japanese citizens. Many Japanese people are not asking for conflict. They are asking basic questions: Will Islamic institutions follow Japanese law? How should local communities handle mosque construction? What about public noise, schools, burial customs, public facilities, and local rules? How will Islamic leaders explain these issues to Japanese society? These are not automatically “hate.” In a democracy, concerns from citizens deserve answers. Americans understand this very well. Religious freedom does not mean being free from public questions. Civil rights come with civic responsibility. If the Japan Imam Council truly wants coexistence, it should not only ask Japan to listen. It should also listen to Japan. Explain. Answer. Meet. Discuss. That is how trust is built. Calling for dialogue while refusing the conversation only creates more suspicion. Coexistence does not begin with “You must understand us.” It begins with, “Let us talk honestly.”

@japan_nobunaga On a nicer note, Ohio and North Carolina have a bit of a running feud, since both claim to be the ones who "birthed aviation". Ohio was where the Wright brothers were born, but they flew their first plane in NC. OH is the "birthplace of aviation", while NC is "first in flight".

@uiyui_jk If millions of people come in and refuse to adapt, that's not immigration, that's conquest. They want to impose Sharia law on everyone in the East and West, to force us to forsake our cultures & beliefs. This is the largest scale invasion since the discovery of the Americas.

The Japanese people have no choice but to become ruthless. At this point, we need to be prepared to go as far as closing the country again. Call it inhumane if you want. So what? Should we just accept a future where the Japanese become a minority in their own country while Muslims gain increasing influence? Some fools say, “You’re exaggerating.” No—you are the bigger fool. It will keep growing, just like a pyramid scheme. 💢 Rather than forcing Japanese people to feel like strangers in their own country, I’d rather send everyone back now and be resented for it. @uiyui_jk I'd say you're probably better off staying in Japan, since the US is following uncomfortably close behind Europe, which is a complete shithole.If you do decide to come here, Appalachia is the best region IMHO, since the climate is moderate, life is quiet, and the scenery is great
