@resvatel @haworthes V1 was only an immunity to the virus, not a huge buff in strength. You could argue it gave him a small boost in physical strength but that’s it. V1 Soldier boy got jumped by PAYBACK.

@Gwartabig His distain for homelander comes from the fact that homelander is a better version of him. Thats why he always tried to prove that he was better or put homelander down.
Even in his conversation with firecracker he says he doesn’t like him because he thinks he’s better.

My favorite part about Soldier boy this season is that he tries to be more continuous of other’s feelings. He managed to overcome his own inferiority complex and actually tried to be a father to Homelander. Even if he thinks Homelander is weird, he wanted the best for him.

i giggled when homelander showed him the suit but it does make me sad how hard he tries to make soldier boy happy and it just doesn’t work

@EvilFragTrapz Hughie’s final conversation with his dad was one of my favorite moments in the show. Definitely the moment that tugged on my heart strings the most.
A good season finale sets up for the next season.

@TalI_guy S4E5 is very mid, can you explain why you hold it so highly? Because I for the life of me found this episode very uninteresting. Also disagree with the finale being amazing, it was like the s3 finale in that it was mostly setup for next season and didn’t end satisfying.
