It’s funny how it never makes sense to you—until someone plugs in their broken, useless charger, it sparks a fire, burns down the entire building, and possibly kills a corps member. Then, it finally clicks. You all assume that because you're careful, everyone else is too. If you’ve ever worked at a big tech company, you’d know they don’t even allow you to bring your own extensions . Sometimes they even disable certain wall sockets—all because of how unpredictable people can be. You won’t know cause you don’t work for one.

I just found out on a thread that NYSC officials disconnect sockets in most NYSC camps just so charging shops can make money off corpers charging their devices. There’s an untold, unmitigated, and uncontrolled animalistic behavior in Nigerian public servants.
