Traveling in SF as a tourist is great. Want to take public transport? Sure, get the clipper card. Website is blocked, and the app is region locked, can’t use it. Want to take a Waymo or Robotaxi? Sure, just download the app. App is also region locked, can’t use it. On the bright side, getting lots of steps in!

@cedric_dev I never needed the clipper app. Like literally in the Apple Pay app, let me even add money using a maestro bank card.

A few years ago, I was terrified of speaking in English. 🙈 I’d stay quiet in conversations, afraid my words would come out wrong. That my accent, or my pauses, or my grammar would give me away. 🙊 Fast forward to this week: I just gave a talk at GitHub Universe, a conference from GitHub. In English. On stage. In front of an audience full of engineers. 🖤 It still feels surreal — because for me, this wasn’t just a talk about Git. It was a talk about growth. I spoke about how chaos can become calm, how Git’s hidden features can help you recover what’s lost, optimize what’s slow, and tell cleaner stories through code. But behind every slide was also a personal story — about persistence, curiosity, and not giving up when things feel hard (or impossible). 🫂 If I can go from staying silent to standing on a stage, you can too. 🫶 Whether it’s learning a new language, finding your voice, or giving your first talk. Start small, keep trying, and remember: your story matters. 💜 Huge thanks to @devdevcharlie , @CecyGeraldo ,@joseglego, and @fforres you’re the kind of people who show up, listen, cheer, and push others to go further.
