But here's the thing — you don't need to WIN it. You just need 30–35% there. Lagos/Oyo urban youth are already disillusioned. Fuel subsidy removal did what campaigns couldn't. Strategy 1: ONE candidate. Non-negotiable. A Northern PDP/NNPP figure + Southern LP heavyweight on the ticket. Atiku, Obi, and Kwankwaso must appear on stage TOGETHER — early and often. No splinter. No ego plays. One flag, one coalition. Strategy 2: Turnout, turnout, turnout. 2023 turnout was just 26.7% of 93.5M registered voters. Every 1% increase = 250,000–300,000 new opposition-leaning votes. Target: 35%+ turnout. That alone seals it before any swing state flips. Strategy 3: Run on substance. Inflation. Naira collapse. Insecurity. Fuel subsidy fallout. No personality cults. Joint "ADC for Change" messaging. Replicate Obi's digital/youth energy + Atiku's Northern reach + Kwankwaso's Kano machine. Scale it nationally. Strategy 4: The "25% in every state" rule. Tinubu won because he met the constitutional spread threshold. ADC must run micro-campaigns in APC-dominated states — North West, South West — not necessarily to win them, but to guarantee the 24-state 25% spread. Miss this and even a plurality win gets annulled. Strategy 5: Build a REAL party structure — not just a merger label. ▪️ LGA coordinators across all 36 states ▪️ Recruit APC defectors (governors, senators frustrated by Tinubu's 2nd-term grip) ▪️ Align with 2027 governorship races — more state wins = stronger election-day machinery The math is clean. With full consolidation: ✅ ADC starts 2027 with a 20–25 point national lead over a fragmented APC ✅ The votes already exist in the system ✅ The biggest risk is NOT the APC — it's internal ego and candidate selection drama Bottom line: 2023 was never a defeat. It was a fragmentation. 2027 is an opportunity if the opposition can do ONE thing they've historically struggled with: Put the team ahead of the individual. The votes are there.
