It's like nourishing the tree for years and just before the fruit is ready, a storm takes it far away. Payout pool is fixed, monetized accounts keep increasing. The pressure to demonetize is natural. X doesn't even consider it a crackdown until the removals are not enough to include some extra. We have seen great pause of 2024 where big legit accounts like @unkonfined were also not spared. He was probably the first one to be reinstated though. The problem is outrage works only when you are confident enough that you are not on the wrong side. Now the X team has a brutally tough leader who enforces action with examples of blatant rule violations. When the headmaster is stern enough and just looking for a chance to take us to task or remove us from the school itself, why are we not careful enough? What common mistakes are usually committed by the newbie or small accounts that invite unwanted mails of revenue pause or suspension?

having said this, as a creator, who wants to grow on this platform, if you are thinking to mute these keywords, please don't. the reason is you want to connect with creators who make money on this platform. you can learn from them, become mutuals, become mutuals with their supporters, and grow yourself. those who earn also are one of the best supporters. and as a small creator, you need supporter if you wish to grow. these screenshot days should not bother you, (unless you are really happy with what you are doing, and you do not want to earn from x, or you do not want to learn from creators who are getting impressions on this platform). for me these payout days are a beautiful and easy way to connect and learn from them these new creators. :)
