@TalkWithSally @CEO_SuperDragon My Dad had a collection of wooden decoy ducks. He loved the art of ducks. We even had plates with ducks when I was kid. I’m not sure why I never got to ask him. I wish I did. It was just something he liked.

Poor momma duck has been sitting on this nest since March. She has one egg left and it’s obvious that it isn’t viable. 😢

@TalkWithSally That’s so kind of them, I know his wife really appreciates it. When you get some time, check out some of Kerry Goodes posts on X. He’s got ALS He is completely paralyzed & can’t speak. God sure gave him the gift of writing as he’s got a great, positive personality.

7 friends all the same age. All of them have been best friends since high school. The middle one has ALS. Every month everyone gets together for a meal and laughs.

@TalkWithSally @marymau777 You can raise her nest off the ground, with like piece of dog crate or something. The point is you want airflow under her tummy. Broody Hens tend to tear off thier stomach feathers. Anyway the cool air at night will reset her hormones and if the egg gets cold she'll get off it.

@CEO_SuperDragon @TalkWithSally That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever heard. I know ducks have really interesting personalities for birds. I actually raised a couple but never had any nest near me. They flew away and didn’t come back.

As I get older, I realize that going on vacation means something totally different than it did as a child. As a child, it was more “going on an adventure.” Beaches, mountains, exploring new places. As an adult, vacation is going to a secluded place where you can get away from people for a week or two… just enjoying nature in complete peace and quiet.

Well guys, never thought I would do this, but I do need some help. For those who haven't seen it, my mom has been battling cancer for several years and it ended up in her bones. After the last 6 months she has increasingly been going down hill. A few weeks ago she went to stand up and the top of her femur broke in 3 places where the cancer was attacking her hardest. She was life flighted to CDA and had emergency surgery where they put a rod in the bone to keep it together. It will not heal, and she is now wheelchair bound. She has been in a rehab facility the last few weeks as they have been getting her strength back up and she is actually doing much better than before. She is getting the care we have been fighting Medicare+ on giving her that she needed. Well, Medicare+ is now done paying for her rehab and will no longer cover any more. We have to bring her home. Thay means we have to build a ramp and get her a medical bed that she can be in. While we continue to fight government Healthcare on where we go from here. We know she is terminal, but its the care part where we need help. My dad has missed a lot of work and has drained his savings and so have I. Im hoping to raise money to help him cover the costs of the works we have to do, and to help make sure he does not have to worry about missing time from work.
