@cc21914 Understand your point, but in this rivalry, Roman is the "heel". Fans only care about face and heel when the story is exceptionally good, like Cody/Roman. If story is not of that level, they will react however they want. After all, they buy tickets for entertainment and have fun.

Real main events should be Babyface vs Heel. Not 2 Babyfaces facing off just for the fun of it. When you have the crowd chanting OTC! OTC! and then they suddenly start chanting WOAHHHH OHHHH OHHH OHH that just means that the quality isn’t that good.

@XOforeverbaby I'd say even RAW vs SmackDown has run its course. They don't even do the brand split seriously; people pop up on any show without explanation. They should rotate normal 5v5 tag match and wargames each year, depending on the type of rivalry.
