Attended the Fylde Coast Cancer patients and carers even at Blackpool FC. What a great turnout...the venue was full and it was good to see people connecting as well as receiving support from the various organisations. Lots of conversations had and smiles seen :). @WeAreLSCFT

Yesterday Talking Therapies joined forces with Smokefree Lancashire at 1st Call Onward homes support clinic at Accrington town hall. The opportunity created a One Stop shop for financial advice and health support and was really well received by 30 people @WeAreLSCFT

Attended Yarnspinners Medical Centre in Nelson . Was great having people signposted over to address some of their mental health needs as well as linking in with their in house mental health practitioner. Great way to reach the local community. @WeAreLSCFT

Yesterday I set up a Talking Therapies pop up stand at Stanley's Community Hub in Morecambe alongside Healthwatch and Connect to work. Busy centre with the foodbank and cafe running..a real heart of the community and people of all ages stopping by. @WeAreLSCFT

Set up a pop up info stand outside the restaurant at Ormskirk hospital. Was a great opportunity for staff to drop by and have a chat. Was encouraging to see plenty of interest @WeAreLSCFT

Julie and I attended Barrow V1 form college today to talk to students about careers in NHS psychological therapies . It was also a good opportunity to promote the Talking Therapies service. @WeAreLSCFT

Joined the Cosy Homes winter event in Clitheroe. I was lucky enough to have a radiator to sit on but Cosy homes brought some great winter warmers as raffle prizes. Shared some tips on how to look after our mental health over christmas. @WeAreLSCFT

LSCFT and Blackpool Talking Therapies joined forces at the Fylde Coast Macmillan Cancer Patient and Carer event at Blackpool Football Club. Working with neighbouring teams really helps create an easier to navigate service . @WeAreLSCFT

Today LSCFT and Blackpool Talking Therapies teamed up to provide information to Fylde Coast cancer patients and their loved ones at Blackpool Football Club. A really worthwhile afternoon. @WeAreLSCFT

Lancashire County Council asked us to do some health events around Preston so today we teamed up with HARRI, Somokefree Lancs and Lancs constabulary at Westview Leisure Centre. Had some very interesting interactions. @WeAreLSCFT

The Warm Homes events are well under way across Lancashire & South Cumbria. Was good to go along to the first in Pendle (Colne) where all sorts of winter advice and support was on tap @WeAreLSCFT

Spent a cold crisp day with Blackburn & Darwen Carers today. Joined by the vaccination bus and Harri, we drew a good steady crowd throughout our visit chatting about mental health whilst getting bp checks,covid and flu vaccinations. Great day of community engagement. @WeAreLSCFT

Spent the day at LCC in Preston at the Public Health Expo. Great to see so much enthusiasm from LCC staff keen to look at both mental and physical health protection and a great way to reach county wide teams in one place to share the support we can offer. @WeAreLSCFT

We attended the LSCFT Trust AGM on Thursday. Great to see so many coming to talk about the services we offer and a chance to meet the trust governors to discuss achievements and aims @WeAreLSCFT
