Slot has consistently throughout last season and this trusted only a smaller group of players. By not integrated fringe or youth players they unsurprisingly leave, and those who stay develop slower so become less usefu. He then overplays main group to injury/fatigue.

You can't.
Your teammates in midfield, really weak defensively. Without the runners who press in front or with them, they leak goals cos they lose tackles, duels & 2nd balls recoveries more so if they're slightly tired.
Defensively boring may help till window opens 🤷♀️
