We’ve just got back from a visit to the amazing studio of ceramic sculptor Elaine Peto and have a wonderful horde of new work to show you at the Talos Gallery. To have the pick of 10 new pieces, make sure you visit as soon as you can. Talos Summer Exhibition open until 21 July.

Our new Magnolia Grandiflora has been spurred on by the recent sunshine and produced its very first, spectacular bloom. Come see our gallery gardens - best now with the wildflower garden putting on its extravagant, annual display. Fabulous roses and of course sculptures too!

Paul Harvey's majestic bird sculptures have been a huge hit in the garden at Talos this year with seven different examples sold already! This Tawny Owl with his mellow rust finish sold today to go to another wild flower garden - such a great backdrop for sculpture!

Artist Judy Boyt is giving her fantastic sculpture ‘Up to the Line’ a special new look. Inspired by the majestic bronze horses of St Marco in Venice, Judy is painstakingly applying 11m2 of gold leaf to transform her stallion into a dazzling mythical beast!

Acclaimed photographer Russell Sach has been round to take some early shots (this one included) and we look forward to sharing these with you as well as his return visit when more exhibits are in situ.

It is less than six weeks to go until the gallery’s very large wooden doors swing open once again for our Summer Exhibition. It has been a very invigorating few weeks taking delivery of many new pieces and starting to install these in our galleries and gardens.

On Wednesday we welcome you to our Sculpture Gardens as part of the @NGSOpenGardens Enhancing your experience our Summer Exhibition is on and showcases 25 outdoor sculptures making the garden walk a feast for the senses. Enjoy homemade refreshments too. #opengarden

The arrival of three magnificent sculptures by @Ianmarlow has suddenly brought the garden to life - this is ‘Rising from Chaos’ - so many messages and references in this piece, it’s one of Ian’s best and we’re thrilled to be showing it here at Talos in our #SummerExhibition23.

Collaboration between Foundry & Gallery allows us the unique opportunity to share the evolution of pieces before they are display. Here artist Mike Long is working in our foundry to finish his new sculpture of 'Swimmers', which will feature in the Talos exhibition this summer.
