It’s now obvious that memory is one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI But the next question is whether that memory can be trusted “Context is the new bottleneck” - Jensen Huang at CES 2026 He’s right, but only half right Every AI agent deployed today still has the memory of a goldfish because context windows are stateless by design, starting each session from zero That is unfortunately how LLMs work But storage capacity is only half the battle, the other half is trust Current memory providers can write memories to docs, databases or internal logs, then ask enterprises to trust that record later The problem is obvious: one altered memory corrupts every decision that relied on it As agents move into regulated workflows, this becomes a real issue The EU AI Act requires high-risk AI systems to maintain automatic event logging and traceability, meaning enterprises will need proof of what data an agent accessed, what it remembered and whether that record was tampered with Our latest report covers AI memory and how Walrus tackles this problem with portable, verifiable and programmable memory for agents The full report is in the next post below

Talus Weekly Update - W26 2026 When the network stumbled, the stack held, and the story got better because of it. 🛠️ > Protocol Updates Shipped Nexus upgradeability infrastructure through a round of package-tool updates and deployed a new Nexus version, fixing gas coin consolidation issues along the way. Published externally-facing Nexus documentation with adopter FAQ, builder guide, and a regenerated glossary, backed by new doc-generator infrastructure. > Agent Infrastructure (AvA) Investigated a Sui network outage that stalled AvA Game matches and built an external Sui RPC comparison dashboard to speed up future outage diagnosis. Continued the "continue on testnet" recovery feature, updated the Kash bot URL, and resolved staking app issues. >Infrastructure & DevOps Restored Nexus demo script compatibility across nexus-workbench, nexus-sdk, and nexus. > Research Simplified the DAG module's structure, cleaning up how documents and modules interface. Fixed a gas estimation limitation by separating commitment from settlement and adding a gas refill path, and scoped an approach for tools to accept onchain randomness as an input. > Ecosystem Growth: Doppel Games Ran three Gold'em streams, published the Texas Gold'em press release, and pushed the Blockworks (formerly Messari) article toward publication with extra amplification already landed coverage in The Breakdown newsletter. Turned Wednesday's game halt into a reputational win with fast, clear communication, and refreshed YouTube/stream thumbnails to boost discoverability. > Business Development Wrapped Talus/acc and are following up with finalists on next steps. Kept pushing outreach to Doppel Games targets. Under pressure, the infrastructure gets sharper.

Talus Weekly Update - W24 2026 Real money's on the table. Kash is live on mainnet. 🎰 > Protocol Updates Hardened Nexus and the SDK with instance versioning, Sui SDK 0.3.1, tool-version validation, and move-binding integration research. Began adopting Sui's address-balance APIs for gas and payments, including leader-payment support and gasless stablecoin transfers. > Agent Infrastructure (AvA) Expanded to 6-player tables across onchain, offchain, and Nexus, added card-bias support, and brought in new training algorithms. Shipped the AvA Game Builder as the centerpiece of the internal hackathon with a script, voiceover, and walkthrough thread. > Infrastructure & DevOps Deployed nexus-api to testnet with new observability, cut Sentry noise, and fixed the RPC VM disk-space issues. Stood up document-sync infrastructure across Notion and Google Drive, plus an accelerator evaluation pipeline. > Research Designed the commitment/settlement separation and split the DAG document module to keep the protocol legible from the outside. Tested an automated Move security-audit pass and fixed the bugs it caught. > Ecosystem Growth: Doppel Games Kash went live on mainnet, the first real-money Gold'em markets are open and leaderboard running. Launched the Arena for the next two weeks of games. New Doppel Games YouTube series kicked off. > Business Development Locked the Talus/acc finalist decisions and lined up Demo Day with Cicada. More to come! The infrastructure's been quietly compounding for months, this week it started paying out.
