Many observers believe Skandalakis’s decision not to charge Jones means he'd be inclined to dismiss the broader electors section of Willis’s case.
Skandalakis also previously suggested Trump can't be tried until after he leaves office in 2029

Skandalakis is familiar with a chunk of the investigative file in this case. Last year, he reviewed Willis' evidence against Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, who served as a Trump elector. He declined to pursue charges.
