Police unions are more interested in protecting bad cops than protecting the public.
The @NewJerseyOAG is taking a meaningful (but incremental) step towards transparency and all we hear is whining from the police union leaders.

2015 was the most recent report I could get for Paterson. I wonder how many "resigned in lieu of termination" cops went to other agencies. This kinda undermines Paterson PBA's argument that major discipline is nothing more than "uniform violations," "equipment loss," etc
