Tesco Superstore & Rashie, Community Champion have very generously donated grocery items to our group. This is the 3rd year that Tesco have offered donations, visited our face to face group & presented a Zoom meeting. Everything they do for us is hugely appreciated. 💜

A good day was had by all when we went to the Fireground Museum in Rochdale today. Our tour guide was Les & he gave us lots of info & he was a darlin'. Everyone looked after us & made our visit good fun. 🚒 The cafe was good too (& warm). 🤭 #aroundtheworldwithtpfsg

Today Barbara (in blue) was at Greenfield Satellite Centre for the monthly coffee morning. She was presented with a cheque for £145, the proceeds of last month's coffee morning where she gave a talk about Pulmonary Fibrosis & our Support Group. We thank them very much. 💜

Last week Andy and I attended the 'Together Through Loss' Bereavement Event at Academy HQ in Stalybridge. It was good to talk to other exhibitors to find out how we can help each other in the Community. 💜

Friday 23rd Jan we had our monthly get-together. We welcomed @AngelaRayner who made a surprise visit to us. She has supported us since 2018 and we do appreciate it. Our guest speaker was Kate from AgeUK. It was a busy meeting. Thank you to our volunteers for being amazing! 😊

Barbara & I attended the Health Fair at Ashton Library to spread the word about PF & our Support Group. We talked to visitors, & chatted with the other groups. It was a bit chilly in the library cos the heating was broken, but thankfully, we were given a nice hot cuppa ☕️

@ILDinfo This is something we always say when trying to explain about PF to people who haven't heard of it, or dont understand how devastating a diagnosis it is. Remission really would be something 👍

I wish we could apply the term "remission" to pulmonary fibrosis. That would be a good aim, to put pulmonary fibrosis into remission. Why remission? Because when it is progressive, it is a terrible disease. Perhaps we need to be more ambitious with our research objectives. #curePF
