@TanShaoHan @makapatag obviously it's the sin of misappropriating 88 to signify "double portions of prosperity" instead of the tragic sinfulness the number inflicts upon humanity that it should have rightfully meant.

@TanShaoHan My father worked at a funeral home for quite a few years. This sort of accident isn't entirely uncommon. What is much worse, and what made my father quit his job, were the horrible things they did which were not accidental. There's only so much land, and a lot of money to be made

What’s more rare is ones about human relationships, rather than aloneness. And when I play these I find my unconscious brings in horrors to things that happen. I actually don’t need designers to convince me the world is horrifying. So the games I seek out are about relationships.

There are many journaling games about alone-ness, and many about being in horrific situations. Dying alone. Lost your memories. Journeying in an apocalyptic landscape. It is as if the designers are trying to convince me the world is horrifying. But the thing is, I already know.

Absolutely nightmarish, what a terrible fate. To be consigned to the wrong afterlife, if your metaphysics allows for that? Or if you adopt a more materialist approach, for those who still live and grieve to be subjected to even more trauma and pain, to be denied proper respects?

100 years ago tonight, in the small town where we live, thousands of klan members came to march through the Irish catholic neighborhood. To get there they had to funnel over this bridge. When they got there it had been blocked by a truck. Which should have been a warning.
