Last week I stopped in to @wmata's Virginia HQ for @MetroTransitPD's first ever Youth Advisory Council meeting in the Commonwealth. New connections were made as youth got an inside look at the Emergency Operations Center and MTPD video center.

A powerful start for our Virginia youth mentorship program! 💙 Our first-ever meeting was a big success, with 25 high school students joining our officers and civilian team at Metro’s Eisenhower Office Building. Mentees even got to meet our comfort dog, Binki. 🐾

Dear @AmericanAir, Appreciate your commitment to safety. Also like timely arrivals— many folks spent Thanksgiving at DCA after 8:45 am AA2687 flight to CLT delayed 4 hours due to issue, folks de&reboarded, then another issue arose b4 takeoff. Now waiting for another plane @ 2pm.
