@TanakaAttorney That's a great initiative. I found it was impossible to get an education because my family didn't want me to pursue one. I had no idea what was possible, only that it was expensive. 6 years later I found out that the government has some programs to help out.

We uncovered this(means info inside book for elders)with the help of present Elders, and two days later of this action, our Prime Minister KISHIDA mentioned JW issues in the Diet. I personally understand that GB's exceptional behavior regarding Japanese JWs is a sign of their deep impatience.

@TanakaAttorney @Larchwood20 Remember - this is the same organisation that publicly claims JWs make a voluntary choice to refuse blood transfusions but then in its secret rule book 'Shepherd the Flock' lists the acceptance of blood transfusions as a punishable offence!!

I don’t know the details though being a native speaker of Japanese language, I guess (just guess) the original document was written in English and someone (supposed to be Bethel people) translated it in Japanese which is reason why there are some ridiculous points inside it.

I have been informed the original Japanese document uses the word “believer” rather than “member” but the English translation uses “member”.

@Larchwood20 I believe that the TRUE truth will triumph over the lies. It is good that the each side will say what both want to say, and society will judge the truth, then the TRUE truth will come out. I/we believe in the TRUE truth.

@Larchwood20 However, your point is an important one that many Japanese JWs have pointed out. What I want to say is there is a possibility that GB is misrepresenting the information, spreading this paper dishonestly, and misusing it.

For example, this so-called STUDY by an organization thought to be related to JW writes that 6.9% of Japanese people have no education, but the actual high school enrollment rate in Japan is about 97%, and maybe 99.9% of people have received some kind of formal education. The premise that about 8 million Japanese are uneducated is absolutely absurd.

The JW STUDY in response to "So called negative media "was released by JW related team recently. At the same time, "The Official research about JW held by JPN GOVERNMENT" will be released in 2 days ( 26 April Japan local time.)
Which shall be more reliable.

The JW commissioned "study" in response to the negative media and government attention in Japan is interesting because they have apparently forgotten that the words “member” and “membership” are not to be used in regards to JW as per the Public Information Department manual.
