@UKFightNight1 @spike_osullivan I think he panicked, same way as he did when Tyson got flattened by Wilder and had to be wrestled to stop him getting in the ring by Freddie Roach but I think it was the right decision

@TandyBoxing @spike_osullivan Same. He was going to get horribly knocked out and then people would have been slating Ben for not pulling him sooner. Wood would always go back out for another round, that's why we have coaches to pull a fighter.

@iandean @Peety_Editor Agree he did panic, same way as Freddie Roach had to wrestle him from getting in the ring when Fury went down against Wilde, however I think if allowed to continue Wood would probably be on his way to hospital now as Lara would have let him off the hook

Corner threw in the towel in panic. Ben Davison never gave his man - the champion - a chance. Wasn’t a prolonged beatdown. Was one clean cracking shot. Wood deserved the opportunity to clinch out that round and try and recover. World title surrendered by his own corner. #WoodLara

Same Ben Davison who had Tyson Fury basically asleep on the canvas in rd 12 vs. Wilder in the first fight and didnt throw the towel. Fury was MUCH more out of it than Wood was and there was still a long time left in the 12th round. #boxing #WoodLara

@LyndonArthur Am not the biggest fan of Davison but to be fair Wood was out on his feet and there’s a good chance he would have been savagely KOed by Lara, yes title fight and he was up blah blah but he would have been taking more shit if he had been hurt, good fight 👍

Just spent about half hour looking through my daughters Instagram account looking back at all the videos, really worth a look if you haven’t seen it, not dad here speaking but she is a talent, tough little ****er @tiatandyrugby

So been paying for @SkySports app for a number of years, it hasn’t been working all week as saying to try again later, I email sky, they advise me to check it on their website, it turns out the app has expired, nice of them to tell me, they are quickly becoming a joke 🙄

@SunnyEdwards like I have said many times, corner coaching is one thing, screaming when a shot hasn’t even landed to get an edge with the judges is crap

@SunnyEdwards agree & hope you will be able to confirm that when you have had 38, fighting in 1 world title is harder than coaching 38 it’s never been about me and you and it’s you that keeps bringing it up
