💫💫Court clears Genesis to liquidate $1.3B worth of Grayscale GBTC shares💫💫
Filings suggested that Genesis Global Holdco held roughly $1.6 billion worth of shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, Grayscale Ethereum Trust and Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust.
💠The bankruptcy judge approved Genesis Global Holdco's liquidation of $1.3 billion worth of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) shares to reimburse investors. Genesis holds around 35 million GBTC shares, along with shares from Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE) and Grayscale Ethereum Classic Trust (ETCG). Grayscale had limited objections but didn't aim to hinder the process.
💠The SEC's approval for GBTC's conversion to a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund will aid in share redemption. Genesis settled a $21 million case with the SEC for its involvement in offering unregistered securities through the Gemini Earn program.

This morning, I seized the opportunity to go to the market early, hoping it would still be empty, allowing me to shop quickly and return home soon. However, upon arriving at the market, I was surprised to find traffic congestion right from the entrance. Nevertheless, it wasn't too severe.
In that moment, I naturally felt life slowing down to savor the rhythm of life around me. I immersed myself in watching the hurried crowd shopping, weaving through the stalls.
The contrasts of the days nearing Tet were evident in the midst of Saigon city. The streets were quieter as those living far away took advantage of reuniting with family. However, at the market, the crowd still swarmed, preparing for the upcoming Tet days.
I sensed that this hurried pace of life was quite different from ordinary days when everyone rushes along the stream of life to make a living. It was very ordinary, very human. It exuded love and happiness when caring for loved ones, eagerly anticipating the return of distant relatives.
Seek out the positive aspects of life around you, and you will see how beautiful life and human relationships truly are.

MicroStrategy snapped up another 850 Bitcoin in January, increasing its total BTC holdings to a value of $8.1 billion.
💠MicroStrategy, the largest publicly traded holder of Bitcoin, acquired an additional 850 BTC in January, bringing its total holdings to 190,000 BTC valued at $8.1 billion. In 2023, it acquired 56,650 BTC at an average price of $33,580.
💠Despite a 6.1% decrease in revenue to $124.5 million, the company posted a net income of $89.1 million in Q4 2023, compared to a loss of $249.7 million the previous year. Executive chairman Michael Saylor foresees Bitcoin's institutional growth in 2024, viewing it as the birth of a new asset class.
💠MicroStrategy remains optimistic about Bitcoin's future, unaffected by competition from traditional finance firms, and plans to continue purchasing more Bitcoin while collaborating with developers to enhance BTC-based networks.
