One of the people laid off in Tuesday's #Fortnite layoffs, Michael Prinke, is a terminal brain cancer patient. His wife, Jenni Griffin, expressed in a heartbreaking Facebook post that being laid off from Epic meant that Michael lost his life insurance. @MFounderz Well I thought the problem is the laying off of 1000 people which affected on brain cancer employee, but you are now sounding like you wouldn't mind if the entire company and the remaining 4000 lose their jobs.

Longtime college friend of mine, Mike Prinke, was among those laid off at Epic Games: he has been fighting terminal brain cancer, and now he, his wife, and kid, have no income or health insurance.
