It’s getting outrageous. If you look at the ARC Raiders category on @Twitch at any point during the day you’ll see TONS of streamers playing something that isn’t ARC Raiders. Some of them live for DAYS playing the incorrect game. This hurts people actually streaming in the category SO much and I’m tired of @Twitch doing literally nothing. It’s the same streamers every day I look. It’s purposeful at this point.

Recently I’ve noticed a TON of people streaming in the ARC Raiders category while blatantly playing other games like CS, Valorant, or even GTA. I’ve also noticed quite a few obvious viewbots in the category as well. If you purposefully stream in the wrong category to boost your viewership you’re a loser. If you viewbot you should actually just quit streaming. Both should lose their Twitch accounts.

I streamed on Kick and Twitch for a year. Ask me anything. Everyone says Kick is better than Twitch… so I multistreamed both as an ASMR creator for a year. The result? It wasn’t even close. Kick discoverability is rough. After a year: ~1.7K followers, ~45 avg viewers, ~$14/mo. Twitch: ~10K followers, ~500 avg, Partner in 3 months, ~$1500/mo from subs. People saying Kick is better are capping. Stick to Twitch, especially for ASMR. Stay consistent and don’t give up.
