After 5 years in this industry and a recent "rebrand," I felt it was necessary to write an "about me" and a brief verification post.
I'm Megan, a 36-year-old curvy, "far-right extremist," Canadian single mom living on a farm in a world determined to convince women that a life built around domesticity, motherhood, cooking, gardening, family, routine, and caring for others is somehow oppressive rather than deeply human and feminine. I like making elaborate meals from scratch, growing my garden, tending to my home, being an active and present mom, strengthening my relationship with God, and patiently waiting for my emotional support blue-collar bicep to sweep me off my feet to live out the fairytale in my head.
A lot of my life exists in a very strange overlap between being chronically online and also living on a farm. Half my day is spent editing videos, answering messages, staring at a computer screen, fighting with technology, etc., and the other half is real-life stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the internet, and doesn't need a camera lens on it 24/7.
A lot of people online seem to assume that if you make content for a living, your entire life becomes this perfectly curated, algorithm-friendly thing where every moment is content and every thought is a calculated branding strategy. Meanwhile, most of my actual life is me trying to balance running an online business with a reality that looks nothing like the internet.
And apparently this needs to be said: if you see other accounts using my content, they aren’t me unless they link directly to my official website. I don’t message people asking for money, crypto, gift cards, “management,” or any weird shit like that. If a profile claiming to be me, or affiliated with me, does not direct you to my exact domain, itsmeganmaddox.com, then it is not me; you are being scammed. Not, “maybe it’s her secret Telegram channel…” It is a scam – zero exceptions.
I think a lot of people massively underestimate how common creator impersonation actually is, and not just in this industry. There are entire networks of people pretending to be creators because an unsurprisingly large number of people will go looking for backdoor access to content rather than using a creator’s verified platform.
People love half-naked women on the internet right up until there’s a subscription attached to it, or their wife might see the platform charges on a Visa statement, so suddenly they’re wiring money to some random dude on a Discord channel pretending to be a creator because they were promised “private access,” an “exclusive experience,” or whatever fantasy their dick thought sounded believable enough in the moment.
And yes — creators DO sometimes use alternative platforms to promote or sell content. I’m not here to moralize about that. But the existence of legitimate accounts on private messaging apps does not relieve you of the responsibility to verify who you are talking to.
Creators are not responsible for grown adults throwing money at obvious scams run by people creators have literally zero control over.
I don't message strangers on X asking for crypto.
I am not selling “private memberships” on WhatsApp through Facebook.
I am not sending nudes on Reddit in exchange for Amazon gift cards.
Yet when people ignore every obvious red flag because they think they’ve discovered some secret loophole around paying for verified content, somehow the creator still gets blamed afterward, because, you know, it’s porn.
The irony is that the platforms people mock the most are usually the safest places to interact with creators because there’s actual identity verification, payment infrastructure, moderation systems, and a direct content trail attached to the account.
That’s literally why those platforms exist.
Humans will always sexualize women and then judge us the second we monetize it. Whether people support this industry or not, creators are still real people running real businesses online.
And before somebody eventually pulls the “lmfao a conservative woman who makes porn” card — yes, I’m aware of the contradiction.
I don’t think most people are as morally consistent as they pretend to be online, and I’m not interested in performing fake perfection for the internet either.
At the end of the day, my biggest nightmare is literally your 9-5 reality. I’m just a silly goose single-mom navigating this fucked up world in real time, and learning how to reconcile parts of my life that don’t always fit together neatly.
That probably makes some people uncomfortable. But it’s still more honest than pretending I have everything figured out.
If you made it this far, thank you! I appreciate you, even if that means the liberal smoke is billowing out of your ears right now! Otherwise, hitting the unfollow/block button is free, and no one is forcing you to be here.
Anyway, tits and ass in the link.
Cheers!
