It’s official now, contract signed, I am the new HC at Oakland City University. I am here to bring stability. As I think on this the only way this happens is through God. I’m not getting into the whole story, but it is. The thing is when the local D2 dropped scholarship football. None of my friends or area players could afford that as an option anymore. We used to talk about how we wished Oakland City had football so we could be close to home, play together, and show we were as good as anyone else. Fast forward many years, and here we are. That’s why I’m here guys. To give guys the opportunity to fulfill a dream hatched long ago. An education and a chance to play scholarship football. I know what others say about us, I do not care at all. We are here for you guys, for life changing experiences. Believe in the dream! We will succeed…BET!!!!
