SIK Team Spotlight: Kingman enters the 2025 season under head coach Tanner Hageman, who has compiled a 42-20 overall record with the Eagles. Kingman graduated a senior class that was both talented and experienced, particularly in the trenches, where six different linemen started games a year ago but only one returns. Building depth and competition along the offensive line will be a major priority. On the other side nearly every skill position player returns except at quarterback, giving the Eagles a young but hungry core ready to step into bigger roles. Kingman brings back six starters on offense and seven on defense, with running back/defensive end Gabe Andersen and sophomore quarterback/defensive back Logan Birkenbaugh stand out as players to pay attention to. Other key returnees include senior wide receiver/defensive back Braylon Price, senior tight end/linebacker Garrett Gattis, junior wide receiver/linebacker Trent Clark, senior lineman Jon Silba, and senior defensive back Trey Bough. Andersen, a 6’0, 190-pound senior, will lead the ground game, while Price and Clark add playmaking ability on the perimeter. The Eagles’ defense is also expected to be a strength with multiple experienced returners.
