Chargers like our chrome book charger can use up a ton of energy, even when unused. This is why I make sure to always unplug mine after I’m done, so I can conserve energy and not waste any. #apesenergy @franklinlorax

In the ecology unit, we learned all about the transfer of energy throughout the food chain. For instance, a grasshopper gets it's energy from a producer, just like I got my energy from this goldfish. @franklinlorax #apesecology

Water from your toilet goes to your local sanitary sewer where it then travels to a metropolitan interceptor sewer. Which then goes to your local treatment plant where chemicals/filters clean it. In result, warm water enters Lake Michigan polluting it #apeswater @franklinlorax

My family installed a water filter in our sink. We use this filter so our drinking water doesn’t include any bacteria or other harmful chemicals. This way our water is purified and safe to drink! #apeswater @franklinlorax

This is my metal straw that I have used for the past 2 years. It is environmentally friendly because instead of using many plastic straws I use my metal one. It takes plastic 1,000 years to decompose, which is why everyone should have metal straws. #apesintro @franklinlorax
