@Rabbani_Effendi The rand did gain this week. But at 1519 GMT yesterday, it traded about 0.3% weaker than its previous close and was down about 1% earlier in the day. That is considered a big drop. The currency still managed to appreciate almost 3% since the previous Friday's close.
