Faces Behind D8: Irene Rondini, Community Gardener at @TaplinsFields 🌱 We sat down with Irene Rondini, one of the garden’s dedicated volunteers, to talk about the joy of growing together, the fight to create green spaces in Dublin 8, and the surprises along the way🌾

Lads it's a day for the ducks. The gang got lots done around the garden, they're a great bunch for the jobs. Lots of seeds collected, and we planted more garlic & picked 2 buckets of Spanish beans. Maria made a soup with potato onion and thyme 🍲 See you all Saturday at 10

Last week Taplin’s Fields wasn’t crowned the greenest place in Ireland by @irishtimesnews still, we’re absolutely delighted to have made it to the final shortlist. And for us volunteers, Taplin’s Fields will always be the greenest place of all. 💚 📸Credits: Brian Meade

@CommunityGrdns Top left and bottom right were with a Kodak Ektar h35 + Kodak Colourmax 400 film. For the other two, one was a Yashica Minitec and the other a Nikon F60, but I'm not sure which was which.

Rainy day at Taplin’s Fields ☔️

Once a #DerelictIreland dump site set for development, space was reclaimed by the community, who fought for years to protect it. @TaplinsFields, in the @libertiesdublin, is the first purpose-built community garden in a @DubCityCouncil park. tinyurl.com/muahr4bz
