We just felt what we assume is a small aftershock in New York City to today's earthquake. We are waiting on confirmation from @USGS. @nycemergencymgt will have an update shortly.

@JulieGz123 My friends said the same thing this morning. They were in a car on a bridge so they didn’t feel anything. I said you have FOMO but she said no it’s POFMO (po’ed for missing out.)

@taralazar Yes, for an aftershock it did seem strong! I was sad I missed the earthquake, so I feel better now, lol.

@JulieGz123 The aftershock felt pretty strong. Probably not as much as the 4.8 this morning but everything was rumbling in my bed shook again. Did not last very long, maybe less than a second. #Earthquake

WE WERE DRIVING DURING THE #EARTHQUAKE AND MISSED IT! 😫! We walked into the library a minute later and all the librarians were all: “DID YOU FEEL THAT?! EARTHQUAKE!” and I thought they were just making fun of me because I’d just dropped of a BAZILLION books. 😅😂😂😂❤️📚!
