I launched TaraxaLytics on June 23, 2025 as a personal project. On Friday, November 21st, I’ll be shutting it down so I can focus my time on other development work. Thank you to everyone who supported the project.

When looking at a validator fee, what a validator earns vs. the person staking $TARA is not a lot. Validators earn a percent of the percent the staker earns. Validators / Node operators are not getting rich running nodes. Let's look at an example per the docs: taraxa.gitbook.io/taraxa-network… Consider $TARA at 0.001 USD today. Rewards shown below are for an entire year. FIRST: "Your Stake" say it is 80M $TARA ▶ Your Stake: 80,000,000 (staked) * 11% Yield ▶ Your Reward: 8,800,000 TARA = $8,800 USD SECOND: Validator gets a percent of "Your Reward" ▶ Validator: Your Reward 8,800,000 * 4% = $352 USD The person staking the 80M (at today's price) made $8,800 for the year the node operator getting a percent of a percent made $352 for the entire year. When a validator charges 1%, 2%, 4% or even 10% it still is not very much for providing this service.
