Let’s call this bull**** out TOGETHER The 200,000 illegal migrants figure Farage is using is over several years and let’s remind ourselves how we got into this mess in the first place - BREXIT And now in threatening to punish those parts of the country where people don’t vote his way the Reform party leader is betraying the basic principles of democracy - its shameless and grotesque bullying which shows nothing but contempt for voters

An 8-year-old girl and her mom were driving when they witnessed bikers crash. The mom, a nurse, rushed to help treat the injured. A year later, the girl set up a lemonade stand. This was the bikers' way of saying thank you.

In London, a phone is stolen every 6 minutes. The police rarely bother to respond. But they had no problem arresting a peaceful 75-year-old woman named Rose. Her crime? Standing quietly near a hospital holding a sign that read: “Here to talk, only if you want.” She was charged under the new “buffer zone” law for “influencing.” Let that sink in. If silently offering a conversation is now a criminal offense in Britain, do British citizens still have free speech?

A non-league manager getting sacked for underspending the budget - that's got to be a first
Ramsgate Football Club@RamsgateFC

Club Statement – Thank you Lee Martin Ramsgate FC will begin the process of appointing a new first team manager following the departure of Lee Martin. As we reflect on the season, it feels the right time to provide an update on the managerial position. When Lee Martin came into the club, we were in a difficult position and facing the real possibility of relegation. His remit was simple - to keep us in the league. Lee achieved that. Results improved quickly and, at one stage, we even found ourselves looking towards the play-off places, which is a credit to the work done during that period. However, a challenging recruitment period leading into March meant that, over the final six weeks of the season, the playing budget was significantly underspent. That period has been reflected in our recent run of results, with six defeats from our last seven games, including this week’s cup final. This decision reflects the direction we want to take as a club, not any one result. As a club, our culture has always been about looking forwards. It’s a mindset that has taken us from the brink of Step 5 to competing at Step 3, and now to a position where we are able to look towards Step 2. As planned, Seb Tidey will step down from his role on the committee at the end of the season. A significant part of Seb’s work with the club has been contributing to the development of a new strategic document, which sets out a very specific plan for the footballing side of the club. To give ourselves the best possible chance of success on the pitch, we believe it is important to explore the market and identify the right manager to deliver that plan. One thing that remains incredible is our supporters. Their backing is the reason we now find ourselves knocking on the door of promotion to Step 2, and we are unwavering in our determination to match their ambition and push this club forward. We would like to place on record our thanks to Lee for the job he has done. He came in at a difficult time, helped realign our objectives, and ensured the club moves forward from a stable position. Seb Tidey, Tom Hadler and Mark Buckingham will take charge of the remaining two games of the season. The club will now invite applications for the role of first team manager from candidates with experience of building teams capable of challenging for promotion to Step 2. Applications should be submitted to chairman@ramsgate-fc.co.uk

@Beverley_Races @NevilleKent @RacingPost @RacingTV Possibly the worst reply imaginable! It’s only you guys portraying it as a premium product and it’s widely sold in other venues and cities across the country cheaper! You are ripping the punters off and trying to disguise it under the poor “premium product” excuse

@Beverley_Races @NevilleKent @RacingPost @RacingTV No it doesn't "need" to be over £8. What a ridiculous comment. I come racing regularly & Beverley is now scratched off the list. Try starting treating the hand that feeds you with respect. For clarity, that's the customers.

@NevilleKent @RacingPost @RacingTV Hi Neville, Birra Moretti is a premium product and we thought long and hard about keeping it on our drinks list, as it's price point needed to be over the £8 mark. We carry a wide selection of beers, lagers, ale etc, all of which are priced under £8.

🚜 Brazil: "Bournemouth are not bigger than Ipswich! What have Bournemouth won!?" 😬 McCoist: "Ooooo... we've touched a nerve!" Alan Brazil was fuming with the suggestion that #AFCB are a bigger club than #ITFC as Kieran McKenna is linked with the Cherries job! 👀
