@TarrytownPD Hi. Writing about it to convey that the problem someone else experienced is not unique. Happens in many places, including here. Lived here 10 years. Only times have seen officers walking the beat are for the night time store front checks after most of the stores have closed.

This isolation led to @TarrytownPD mistreating LONG time local store employee (black) who was walking employee's kid (white) across the street. Some "Karen" called 911. Cops rolled up on him, hard. If #Tarrytown cops walked beat, would know the guy & kid, roll up, & say "Oh. Hi"

The President of the United States is scheduled to visit the Village of Irvington on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Significant traffic impacts are expected from mid-afternoon through rush hour. Please avoid driving tomorrow afternoon in the Village if possible.

We would like to welcome our newest police officer , PO Ethan! Ethan has been battling glioblastoma, an extremely dangerous form of cancer for awhile now. One of his wishes was to become a police officer, so we made it happen. Welcome to our family Ethan.
