Some great news here! From 1st May to 9th August 2026, myself, together with a team of fellow lawyers, we will be offering legal support to people who may not be able to access legal services because of cost or other challenges. During this period, we aim to: 1. Help women and children secure maintenance where a parent has neglected or refused to provide support 2. Prepare over 100 legal opinions 3. Draft over 100 demand notices 4. Assist at least 50 people with plea bargain applications We believe the law should help people, not intimidate them. A good legal opinion can help someone understand their rights and options. A strong demand letter can solve disputes without going to court. Proper legal guidance in plea bargains can give someone a fair second chance. This initiative is about creating real impact, one document, one client, and one life at a time. Because the true value of a lawyer is not only in winning cases, but also in helping people. You can DM me for more info!

Unfortunately if you want to grow you need to be exposed to hard things. You need to wire your brain to think that you can actually bypass anything. You are most probably capable, you just have not tested that ability yet. Do hard things. 🤍

Before bed write this down: “I am worthy of miracles that don't require me to be exhausted." Let that be your closing ceremony for the day.

Colon (:) introduces something. You usually use it when what comes after is a list, or an explanation, or even a reveal. An example is “she had one rule: never apologize” or “this is a list of things you should get from the market: eggs, tomatoes…” It’s also used as the eyes in a smiley face :) Semicolon (;) connects two complete thoughts that are related but could stand alone as separate sentences. It’s stronger than a comma but softer than a full stop. An example is “Frank never apologized; he didn't think he was wrong” It’s also used as the eyes in a winking face ;)

One of the best things you can do for yourself in adulthood, is to learn how to leave things alone. Just leave it alone. Situations, people, whatever it is, leave it alone.

The struggle will not die. When one group stops to rest another one takes up the fight. Because though we are many and far apart, we are united by our pain, struggle and dreams for a bright future. Kenya must work. This is where God has put us and it must work

One day you realize your mom was fighting battles she never talked about while still making sure everyone else was okay. She was tired, stressed, overwhelmed, probably dealing with things nobody helped her with, yet she still got up every day and loved the people around her the best way she could. A lot of mothers carry pain so quietly that nobody notices until they grow up and finally understand the sacrifices that were being made the entire time.

There’s something consistently unsettling about the way femicide is reported in the media. The victim is everywhere. Their name, face, photos shared and reshared, sometimes even in moments that strip away dignity. Meanwhile, the perpetrator is often blurred, unnamed or

Update: My baby was found safely today at around 6pm, not on Friday as people have been saying. The usikimiye facebook post claiming he was found earlier was not true. The nanny is currently in police custody together with the person who referred her to me.
