21 years ago, I sat in a prison cell and learned I was pregnant.
Every sign pointed toward abortion. Every circumstance said this baby would never have a chance.
But I chose life.
I saw value in my daughter before anyone else could.
What I didn’t know was that her birth would help change laws in America. Fifteen years after I gave birth while chained to a hospital bed with a sheriff standing watch, that story reached the highest levels of government. And @POTUS granted me a full and unconditional pardon and signed legislation ending the shackling of women during childbirth in federal prisons.
Today, that same baby walked across the stage as a graduate of MIT.
From a prison birth to one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Never let your circumstances determine someone’s worth.
There is value in life.
There is purpose in every child.
Go, baby. The world is yours. ❤️🎓

🚨 HOLY SHIT. CNN just cited a New York Times estimate saying Trump has reportedly profited $1.4 BILLION from the presidency. And the wildest part? One panelist said Trump made MORE MONEY in the last year than in the rest of his life combined. Think about that.

Police caught on door camera punching Black woman 12 times in her head—while she was on the ground.
Officer never said a word to her before assault—later claiming she was a "suspicious female in area."
Another officer had to run over and physically stop him from hitting her—or who knows what would have happened.
34-year-old Cherria Moore suffered a broken nose and multiple facial contusions.
"She's a 90-pound woman, why couldn't you tase her if you were really in fear for your life?" her uncle asks.
"Why did you have to beat her with your fists?"
She was initially booked into the Cleveland County Jail—but later fully released with all charges dropped.
Incident occurred in Shelby, North Carolina.

@Jonny_2cold I guarantee she’s not saying that in a Black persons face. We are not asking you to do us any favors. The anger isn’t at a “word”, it’s at the history and pain behind it. I wish she would be in my face saying this bullshit. Everybody can be a thug online

@kaybunny1 @SeanFredi @fistmasters_ Because if an opinion doesn't mirror their own, people like him would rather not deal with it as an adult. Rather, they want to dismiss you, in this case as "attention seeking", instead of being open to a logical difference of opinion.
English

I’d rather not block you over a disagreement. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but there’s a difference between discussing a point and using petty insults. I stand by what I said, but claiming I'm just looking for attention is baseless. Maybe you should reflect on your own words before saying that.
