Tasmap is the Canva of Maps. Our goal is to enable anyone, even without any engineering or design background, to create beautiful, professional maps. Current map tools generally fall into two categories: very basic tools that just add descriptions to locations, and professional, complex GIS software. We are building the third kind: a tool that is simple to use but produces professional-grade results. Tasmap is not just a map for marking locations; it is a vehicle. Your knowledge, the information, and insights - as long as it needs to be expressed through a map, Tasmap can do it, and do it better than anyone else. The core of Tasmap is "Map + Content + Design." Connect your content to locations, add the right design. That's it. An even bigger difference is that Tasmap can also become an App. You no longer need to develop an app just for a map, because every map can function like a standalone app. Of course, you can also embed it directly into your website or Notion notes. Tasmap is not an app like Google Maps used for navigation or searching for restaurants; it is a tool for building maps. We use OpenStreetMap as our map source, host our own map servers, and build on open-source software rather than the Google Maps SDK. Our revenue comes from the value of the tool itself, not from your (or your users') data. Therefore, you can have a map with no ads, no algorithms, no tracking, and no privacy collection. Just like what you and your users deserved in the first place. Yes, you should have been able to simply build a professional map by yourself, just like slides, documents, designs, spreadsheets, notes, or even websites. Tasmap fills in that missing piece - maps. 🐞 Hello everyone, nothing motivates quite like being woken up by a bug in the morning. Some minor issues: 1. Incorrect info upon registration. When you first register and go to the studio page, you might see an incorrect message stating that you've reached your map limit. Refreshing the page will show the correct information. 2. Menu icon overlap in Editor. When you open a editor for the first time, the menu icon appears in the top-left corner and covers the editor toolbar. Since the menu icon is draggable, you can simply move it to another corner for now. We’ve been focusing on editor features recently, and overlooked the onboarding path. Will fix them soon, and polish the onboarding journey. Thanks to @jasonallen for reporting!

A minor improvement: When your viewport and focus zone are too far apart, or have no overlap at all, the editor will prompt you to consider setting the current viewport as the focus zone.

@serknight_ If you mean data import, source binding and present, we do. Some of them are already available, some of them are on roadmap. But if you mean providing origin data, that's not our scope.

@TasmapApp Do you have GIS integrations like fire and flood and historical data?

Ah, yes, hazard mapping is on our roadmap. It can be break down into 3 parts: 1. Area element support (e.g., polygons, circles, etc.). This is high priority. 2. Migration to WebGL, which will boost performance enough to handle thousands of source data points. 3. Real-time data source binding. I think once Area Element done, you can try to migrate some lighter datasets (hundreds level) to Tasmap. Just let us know if you need any help!

Some improvements and fixes: 🌟 AI-generated map themes and marker color updates are now faster, and the output is more consistent. 🌟 The Theme button is now located within the Style button for a cleaner menu. 🔨 Fixed some resizing issues in Export Image panel.
