You cannot keep changing the voice, changing the message, changing the style and expect a young squad to grow naturally. From Maresca to Rosenior to McFarlane, Chelsea have looked like a club constantly restarting the same chapter. At some point, the players must take accountability too. But the club hierarchy cannot keep creating turbulence and then act shocked that the team has no rhythm. This squad needs one thing more than anything else now: stability with competence. Should Chelsea go for a proven manager next, like Jose or Conte who are available or still bet on another “project coach” like Iraola or Silva? And where would you place Alonso? Proven?
