Give other nations a chance. We don’t want to host this please!

🚨BREAKING🚨🇿🇦🇧🇼 South Africa is showing a strong interest to bid for the 2028 AFCON tournament and @SABC_Sport has learnt from impeccable sources that a joint bid with Botswana is mooted. 🔸Southern Africa last hosted the AFCON in 2013. 🔸There would’ve been 7 AFCON tournaments since then. 🔸There’s been reports that Morocco is considered again for 2028. sabcsport.com/soccer/news/sa… #TotalEnergiesAFCON | @GaytonMcK | @SAFA_net | @WeAreBFA

I hate people who pressurize victims of abuse, not to press charges because pressing charges is going to ruin the abuser's future.

I pray that one day, South Africa will have a president who loves our people more than money. Who takes the oath of office seriously.

in south africa, a woman is murdered every 2.25 hours, a woman is raped every 12 minutes, a girl child is sexually assaulted every 17 minutes. you are statistically more likely to be raped than to be employed, especially if you are a woman in this country.

These women are fearless for standing up in a society that gaslights them as xenophobic when, in truth, they’re fighting against the injustices faced by ordinary South Africans.

So my father was maintaining my brother and I R300 a month (R150) each😂I didn’t know this until one day we were summoned to court because he wanted to stop paying. It was so awkward seeing him after about 18 years (since divorce), it was tense and he looked embarrassed. Anyway we told the court we were doing ok and he can stop the R300. I applaud my mother, who had the amazing skill of sewing 🪡 Her hands took my brother and I to the best schools in Natal. We lived in a factory shop (difemeng, Qwaqwa Free State) she said “I took you to boarding schools because I wanted you to eat what other kids ate, I wanted you to enjoy a life away from our situation” That woman hardly slept. Day and night that sewing machine was working-so that our school fees was paid, boarding fees paid, school trips paid, tuck money secured… Meanwhile someone was concerned about his R300. May God keep you mama❤️
